HIKE - Litchfield Land Trust. Hike leaders Lorie Bernard and Keith Benson.
As trailhead parking is extremely limited we will meet at and carpool from Lorie and Keith’s home, 70 Marsh Road, Litchfield. Arrive by NOON to drop off coolers, etc., and be ready to depart by 12:15 PM.
We will followed the Stillman-Danaher Preserve & Jim Katzin Trails in the Land Trust. The approximately 3 miles of trails are marked easy to moderate. Both trails have rolling hills, tree roots and rocks with some moist/ muddy patches. There are streams and a beautiful waterfall. The hike leaders recommend hiking boots and poles.
Apres hike will be a Cinco de Mayo celebration back at Lorie and Keith’s with burgers & dogs provided. BYO beverages and a dish to share.
