Kayaking

Kayaking is a great way to beat the summer heat, and we have a very active program. This is a fun group of people who volunteer to lead flatwater paddles of varying difficulty throughout CT and a few in VT. Most are scheduled on Sundays, but some may occur on a weekday or Saturday.

All paddlers need to be experienced and self-sufficient and be able to get in and out of their kayak on their own. We encourage new paddlers to join us after getting some practice and/or lesson. We periodically offer a few easier beginner paddles. Please see the helpful information and links below.

The kayaking schedule is subject to change, especially due to weather, so check the Event Calendar or Squall for last minute updates.
