Hike, Case Mountain, Manchester, CT. Angie Testa 860-416-8321 and Joe Mangione 860-402-0492. Arrive by 11:15. Hike steps off promptly at 11:30 (please be on time - it’s getting too cold to wait for late arrivals). Meet at the Charter Oak Greenway parking lot on Camp Meeting Rd across from Porter St. Take I-384 to exit 4. Eastbound - turn left at the end of the exit and right at the light. Westbound - turn right at the end of the exit and straight at the light. Parking lot is 0.3 miles past the light on the right. Meet in this parking lot and walk to trails. DO NOT PARK IN THE CASE POND LOT!!! Hike 5-6 miles of rolling terrain with some climbs, depending on conditions. View of Hartford, waterfall and horror movie setting along the way. Hiking shoes (not sneakers or running shoes) are a must. Socially distant apres hike in parking lot. BYO Everything.
