The easy hike, lead by Anita, will be on the Beaver Pond Trail. It is a 2.6 mile loop hike on a gravel trail. The longer, moderate hike will be lead by Jeanne. It is a 3 mile loop that starts out crossing Rt 69 and follows part of the Tunxis Trail. When it joins the gravel Beaver Trail there will be the option to take the long or the short way back to the parking lot. The long way makes the total hike distance about 4.5 miles rather than 3. Apres hike will be a BBQ at the home of Anita Kordek. Burgers and dogs will be provided.
