HIKE — Northwest Park, 145 Lang Rd., Windsor. Jeanne Delehanty, 860-748-5858. Meet at 12:30 PM. Any cancellation of hike will be noted on MTL calendar by Sunday morning. From Interstate 91 heading north, take Exit 38. From Interstate 91 heading south, take Exit 38A. Turn right at the exit onto Poquonock Avenue (Route 75). Go about 1.5 miles and turn left on to Prospect Hill Rd. Turn right at the second traffic circle onto Lang Road and continue up the road to the park on the left. This is an easy to moderate hike, with gentle ups and downs, about 5 miles, round-trip. Hiking footwear strongly recommended due to roots, rocks and occasionally muddy, spring conditions.
