Because the updated marine forecast is predicting a chance of small craft warnings, we are changing the paddle to a protected area at Great Island State Boat Launch.  Directions: GPS address is 45 Smith Neck Road, Old Lyme. I-95 to exit 70, go south on rt. 156 (Shore Road) approx. 2 miles (notice boat launch sign on right side of road) to Smith Neck Road. Follow Smith Neck Road to the end to the boat launch ramp and parking lot.
 
Nothing else has changed; arrive no later than 10:30 for 11:00 launch.  Picnic to follow at DEP Marine Headquarters. Hot dogs and hamburgers provided, bring a side dish or dessert.

Original Location:  We will meet at Four Mile Boat Launch at 10:30am for 11:00am launch.  Directions: use 21 Oakridge Drive, Old Lyme, CT 06371.  Bring chairs, towels, snacks, etc for a mid-paddle break.  Picnic to follow at DEP Marine Headquarters, Ferry Road, Old Lyme, CT.   Peter and Moe will be providing hamburgs, hotdogs and small grill.  While it is not a requirement, if you know that you are going to join us for the picnic, an RSVP to Moe would be appreciated.  They want to make sure that they provide enough (and not too much!!) food.  Appetizers, sides, desserts are welcome.  Inclement weather cancels.
