We will start from the picnic area at the Barndoor Hills Rd entrance.  Arrive by 12:15 pm.  Hike steps off promptly at 12:30 pm.  The hike is rated moderate with some steep sections.  We will start this ~3.5 mile hike by heading up the trail to the summit, and along the ridge, which includes some short, steep rocky sections on the ascent and descent.  From there the trail becomes easier and we will hike to Spring Pond for a snack and then return to the picnic area.  Apres hike picnic by the stream.  BYOEverything, including a chair.  Hike Leader: Mark Lassman, 860-402-0382.  MTL Hike Coordinator: Jeanne Delehanty 860-748-5858.
